Grayson County Broadband Project

The Grayson County Broadband Project is committed to provide a solution for all citizens in the County to have access to high-speed broadband internet. The Grayson County Broadband Committee was formed in 2018 to address the lack of broadband in the County. During the following years, the Broadband Committee has worked with contractors, legislators, and other State departments to secure grant funding to begin constructing broadband infrastructure.

Grayson County has partnered with Appalachian Power and GigaBeam Networks to provide fiber and fixed-wireless internet connections throughout the County. This partnership will bring high-speed internet in areas that are considered unserved or underserved. The goal of the Broadband Committee is to ensure that everyone in Grayson County has some type of broadband internet access.
